(she/her) is a Palestinian-American Architect working in the areas of social equity, affordable housing and community-based design projects. She is the founder of Daarna, a community design studio.

(she/her) is an artist and storyteller, citizen of the Houma Nation and Bvlbancha Liberation Radio collaborator. She supports the Okla Hina Ikhish Holo, network of Indigenous gardeners, as the Women's Earth and Climate Action Networks Gulf South food sovereignty coordinator. Monique is the primary steward of the Land Memory Bank & Seed Exchange, facilitating community-built record-making, experiential education, research, and site activations celebrating the diversity of coastal communities and native ecologies present in the wetlands, swamps, and prairies of south Louisiana. Monique co-stewards the Nanih Bvlbancha earthen mound in New Orleans, she is a Gulf South Open School collaborator, and a part of the autonomous and alternative communication mutual aid project, SwampNet.

(she/her/hers) is an urban planner in Oakland, CA. She got into planning to do work that makes people’s lives better. She currently works on long-range plans for the City of Oakland. She previously worked in Los Angeles on projects related to equitable economic development, environmental justice, and stakeholder engagement. She has a MA in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA.

(he/him) is an architectural designer, artist, and community organizer based in St. Louis, MO. Abraham is dedicated to shifting the burden of resiliency from people to the built environment. He is a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation and believes in a free Palestine.

(he/him/his) is an urban planner and researcher who has worked alongside local government, community-based organizations, private businesses, and educational institutions to center the voices and perspectives of those who are too often excluded from traditional planning process. He has led design workshops and research initiatives in Los Angeles, Houston, and Mexico City among others on topics ranging from the ethics of ethnography to digital inclusion, park equity, and the effects of app-based ride hailing on transportation policy. Rajan holds a BA in Urban Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master in City Planning from MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning.

Her work is centered in dismantling systemic inequities through trauma-informed practices, community-led strategies, & intentional care networks. Her energy is spent in pursuit of justice, healing, & liberation for all colonized peoples from Palestine to Turtle Island.

Previously, she led Plot Strategies, the Rose Center for Public Leadership, and the Mayors’ Institute on City Design. She serves on the boards of the National Main Street Center, Grow America, and Colloqate. She teaches urban planning at the University of Washington.

She has a background in participatory design, arts‐based activism and civic engagement. She has designed and managed several affordable housing, urban agriculture and other projects for nonprofit clients, with a focus on community involvement, sustainability and materials-based design. Rashmi's work is based in Chicago and Boston. 

(she/her/hers) is a Brooklyn-based community designer. She establishes communities of designers, artists, and futurists that radically re-shape public policy and practice. She’s a founder and Executive Director of BlackSpace, an urbanist collective centering Blackness in public design and named Fast Company's Most Innovative in Architecture in 2021. Previously she led first-of-its-kind initiatives at New Museum of Contemporary Art, Americans for the Arts, City of Beverly Hills, and DC Public Schools. She’s written about Black urbanist practice in Columbia University Books on Architecture and the City, Deem Journal, The Laundromat Project, and Urban Omnibus.
